Hey there!

In this entry, I’m going to review (not so review) my own explainer video and what I think about others’ explainer video. (I'm not trying to judge others)

Firstly, let’s talk about my group’s explainer video. Well, personally I’m proud of myself. Hehehehe. This is because the process is not easy and I had to challenge myself to be creative. Thus, when I watched the video, I’m so proud as I’m able to finish it up. The only thing I wanted to change if I’m able to do so is change the background colour at the last part of the video. Hahahaha. I didn’t why I didn’t change it while doing it before. Maybe I just want to finish it up quickly till I didn’t mention or suggest to my group mates to change the white background to any colourful background. But still, I’m so happy to watch it and I can say that audiences can get the message that we are trying to convey.

Next, what I think about others’ explainer video. Fantastic! Awesome! Great! I think all of us did well. I can say that they are so creative to deliver the message. Audiences are not only getting the message but feel enjoy too. Their videos are fun and good to be watched. Seriously, our videos are suitable for any ages.

Thus, the explainer video is one of the examples on how to use technology to deliver a message. Besides giving a pamphlet, brochures, or many more, we can use an interactive way such as making a video to convey the message. It will look more interesting than a traditional way. That is how we use technology.

p/s: I’m glad that our lecturer gave us compliment. It felt like everything that we did was worth it and we should believe in our creativity more. Don’t forget to click the link below to watch our explainer video.

Explainer Video

How are you? I hope everything is alright. For today entry, I wanted to share to all of you, my experience making an explainer video by using a powtoon. It is one of the assessments for this subject and it is a group project. Three members per group. Here are my members’ blog.

All of us decided to do an explainer video entitled ‘Don’t Text and Drive’. It was fun, excited but exhausted experienced for me. Hahahaha. It was fun because the animation is so cute. It is exhausted because my friends and I need to figure out on how to deliver the message so that audiences will be able to understand it.

It was a tough experience since I am not a creative person. Therefore, to ensure the message be delivered well and interesting at the same time, was very tough for me. Even though the video should be around 2 – 3 minutes, but still it was hard.

Thus, CREATIVITY is a NEED. However, I do believe that everyone has their own creativity. Everyone has their own way in delivering messages. As this is a group project, so, by having 3 ideas from 3 different people are really helping. That is the importance of having a good communication and team works.

As usual, the first step was making a script. We had to ensure the script prepared was good enough to persuade people to follow it and take an action.  After we had done with our script, we showed it to our lecturer before we proceed to record the voice and create the video.

After all, it was great to learn a new thing. I never persuade people through video. Thus, I gained and encountered lot of new experiences as making the explainer video. I think now I know why some people they love to make a video to deliver their messages. It is because video will always get the attention from the kids and even adults as it is interesting to be watched. Even they will also learn language while watching and listening to the video. Therefore, an appropriate language must be used as the audiences are in the large scale.

My Life Goals ft Powtoon

Hi everyone!

If you can remember, my last entry is about ‘Let’s learn about powtoon.” Thus, in this entry, I will show you, my animated video using powtoon. I hope you will like it or you can give a feedback about the video. Maybe a feedback on how should I make it looks more interesting.

Each of us need to create an animated video entitled “MY LIFE GOALS” for a minute. I give my best to do it. Since it is only a minute, so I only gave 5 goals and did not explain it much. It is just a simple, yet nice video to be viewed. I hope we have a same thought too. :)

Let's learn POWTOON!

Hello!

In this entry I am going to share with all of you a new lesson. It is about POWTOON.

Have you heard about it? From my understanding, Powtoon is just like power point but in a video version. We can create awesome videos and presentation. Anyone can use it since it is FREE and also EASY. All you need to have is an account.

Thus, I am going to share with all of you my experience in learning powtoon as my lecturer had taught us on how to use powtoon.

Me personally think that it is so FUN! Like really INTERESTING. There are lots of free and nice layout for you to choose. It also has cute and exciting characters that can represent as yourself. With all of the characters, it will make the video looks more entertaining.

The only problem I found while using this software is sometimes the most beautiful layout, characters are not free. Hehehehe. So, if you want to have it, all we need is a premium account. It means that we need to paid it. However, do not worry. The free ones are also beautiful and great.

Besides, another thing I encountered while learning this, it was too hard to move the shapes, figures and characters when the internet slow. Hahahaha. Therefore, you need to have a strong internet connection. In my situation, everything was alright when I did it in class, but as I continued it at home, I had to face some lagged. So, remember everyone, as dealing with internet and technologies, the most important thing is a STRONG CONNECTION.

I also think that Powtoon will be really benefit to teacher or anyone who is specialized to do the advertisement. It is because powtoon is an animation video. So, students or people will always get attracted to something that move or we called it as animation video. That is why I think that it is worth for you to learn on how to make powtoon. For a student, it will be worth as you can do a great video presentation.

Edit the Podcast

Hi peeps!

This week I learnt on how to edit podcast. Well, my friend and I should do a podcast as one of our assessments for this semester. Thus, Madam Azida taught us on how to edit our podcast so that we can submit a proper podcast. Not just recording our voice then submit.

Audacity + Bandlab = tools to edit the voice.

First, let’s get to Audacity. It is a free or open source audio software that applicable to anyone. It is an easy-to-use. Even if you are a beginner like me, you can still use it. You need to know, by having this software, you are able to edit the sounds and even record your voice. You can download it, don’t matter if your operating system is Window, Mac OS or Linux.

Next, if you don’t need any internet connection while using Audacity, but not for Bandlab. You need to have an internet connection to use it. the function is just same as Audacity where you can edit and record your voice. For Bandlab you need to have an account for you to use the software. The more important tips for you to know before recording your voice for the podcast or anything, please choice a quiet place. I know it might be hard for you to find a jamming studio unless you always go to jamming studio. But you can still find a quiet place for you to record a voice such as in your closet hahaha, in a library (but don’t make too much noise or someone will kick you out) or under your bed. The reason you need to look up for a quiet place is because sometimes the loud noise cannot be edited even by the software. So, good luck for those who want to try it out.
